Fred O'Connor Awarded OAM
Our esteemed coach Fred O'Connor has recently been awarded an OAM at Government House!

Across generations of athletes, Fred has been an inspirational figure. Fred has an incredibly perceptive ability to see immediately what an athlete is doing well and where that athlete can look to improve. Such an ability has emerged out of Fred's mindful and insightful approach. We are certainly lucky to have him guiding the ship at EDAC! Well done Fred on the thoroughly deserved OAM!!DSC_3420-2.jpeg

After catching almost all runners ahead of him with still half a lap to go, Matt stormed the last 1km to pull away from the rest of the field - finishing 20 seconds ahead of 2nd place and a full minute ahead of everyone else.
